In our modern world, with the pressures all around us to overconsume, it can be hard to keep perspective.

For business owners bombarded with messages about 6-7 figures all the time reality becomes even more distorted.

Don’t get me wrong, I know all too well what it is life to lie awake at night worrying about paying the bills. I know how consuming that feels.

But I also know how easy it is to forget how much we have right in front of us.

20 years ago I read a stat that said, if you have a wardrobe and a fridge, you are richer than 70% of the world (I can’t find this stat now so not promising it is accurate, it just stuck with me)!

Sometimes this awareness makes me feel guilty.

But right now I am allowing the feeling of abundance.

I am accepting, receiving and grateful.

I am so f**king rich!

The best part of feeling this way to me is that it reminds me of my privilege. And with privilege comes responsibility.

I won’t stick my head in the sand about those people that don’t have what I have right now, I can’t solve the problems of the world but I can do my bit with the money and time I have.

That is why Mission Led Content is not just about marketing. I aspire to take the principles into daily life; love, compassion, service, courage.

I don’t always get it right and I always know I can do more.

But I keep working on it. Doing my best because that is all I can do.

It is all any of us can do.
